We are so excited to share with you wise guys fans that our dear friend Steve Van Zandt (Guitarist for Bruce Springsteen and actor in the Sopranos) will be launching a new series called Lillyhammer on Netflix. He plays a New York mobster Frank “the Fixer” Tagliano, who enters the witness protection program after turning against his boss. Frank asks to be relocated to Norway’s Lillyhammer, where there is clean air, fresh white snow and gorgeous broads he saw on TV. Predictable enough, nothing is as it seems out there.
Bill Cella was in New York a few months ago where Gina Franano (Van Zandt’s publicist) and Steven showed him the pilot. Bill new it would be great and it looks like Netflix did too as it’s their first venture into original programming. We have had so much fun with Steven over the years with Clarence Clemons… Steven never missed a charity event that Clarence did. Let’s not forget Rock Meets Runway where Steven sponsored an all girl rock band contest along with Seventeen Magazine, Hard Rock New York and us, Palm Beach Rox! We had a BLAST!
